Everyone really appreciated the radio support. If I hadn't
found Dave on a hail mary call for help and then you via him, we'd
have been out of luck. So thanks to the both of you and your teams.
I'm really glad that it was an event that you not only had to work,
but enjoyed as well. There's still more coming in, but your team
can know that they helped us put together an event that raised
over $140,000. The final numbers will be in on Sept 7, so we
expect it to grow a bit like it did last year. Most of that money
stays to help local women get screening, treatment, and educational

and evaluate everything after Saturday cleanup and then another event
Sunday/Monday. While there are always some hiccups on the back side,
the responses from riders and volunteers were overwhelmingly positive.

Just a brief note to tell you all what a great time we had on
Saturday. I've been getting notes from our radio volunteers
saying how much they enjoyed the event, what great people they
met and what a warm feeling they got knowing they were helping a

areas. (particularly those areas with no cell phone coverage)

We have permission to use the 145.45- (100Hz PL) Chelsea 2m repeater, so coverage
should be good throughout the route. Please volunteer for this worthwhile
